The Marian Hill Chapel is a wonder in itself, built from donations not only from financial donors but through material supplies and laborers as well. The chapel was constructed in stages with an old swimming pool underneath its floor that now serves as a large rainwater reservoir used for watering the plants and vegetation around the park. Rainwater from strategically constructed ditches and canals are channeled and collected in the reservoir - truly an ecologically friendly design.
